The Raffle


Hola!

Raffle draw will be done on Wednesday December 22, 2010 at the AIE Head Office to give time for ticket payments to fully settle.  Unremitted tickets are considered sold and raffle stubs are still accepted and qualified for raffle until Wednesday morning.

The draw will be done in the midst of School Directors representing different branches and will be supervised by the College network auditor Mr Armand Castro.

Winners will be announced on this site on the following day December 23, 2010. Prizes will be entrusted to the SD or branch representatives present during the raffle.

ATTIRE

Formal Wear:

     Male  :     Formal Coat and Tie (any color) 
     Female:    Elegant Evening Gown (any color) accentuated with Silver (either lining, piping, shoal or tail or any silver accessories) 

Creative Costume:

Male & Female :  Regional Creative costumes or any Native Creation inspired by local materials   

Run way get up:

Male:  Denim pants with glittery design or hand painting or tribal design, No upper wear
                    
Female:   Shorts or mini skirts, and Fashion bra (glittery bra, native bra, floral bra etc - NOT ordinary bra)  

Swim Wear:

    Male and Female:  No special requirements






Badminton Competition


Hola!!!


1. All participants must be official students either Diploma or BS only of the AIE branch/team and must meet all their eligibility requirements:
a) Officially enrolled at the time of the competition
b) Should be in good standing
Official List of the players must be submitted on or before December 8, 2010 thru email: mark_anthony_tiangson@yahoo.com (head facilitator of Badminton competition).
2.  Each AIE branch must have their entry for single men / women and double for men / women badminton.
3. During the foundation day, Team leader or team adviser must report immediately to
    the Badminton facilitator or sports chairman for registration, briefing and the player’s number.

Sportsmanship
1. All players must exhibit the highest level of sportsmanship before, during and after the competition;
2. All players must be at the competition venue at the designated time. Grace period is 2 minutes. Penalty-5 points deduction from the total score.
3. The same level of sportsmanship is expected from the players and other supporters.
4. Grave acts against sportsmanship but not limited to sabotage, physical violence, libel, stealing, and the like shall be dealt with the full force of the law after an appropriate investigation is conducted.

Apparel and Accessories
1.  The player must wear the proper outfit (T-Shirt, sport shorts and rubber shoes).
2.  Jewelries or any accessories are prohibited.
3. Each player must have their own badminton racket. Shuttlecock will be provided by the committee.

Game Proper
1st game – double for men
2nd game – double for women
3rd game – single for men
4th game – single for women

Power Dance


Hola!!!
POWER DANCE MECHANICS

1.  The power dance competition is open to all interested dance groups composed of 4 to12 members, groups maybe all male, all female or mixed. Each dance group shall represent a specific AIE Campus.
2.  Each participating group is required to register and submit the filled out registration form.
3.   The dance piece can be composed of any dance genre. (Except interpretative dance)
4.   Dance routine should be a minimum of three (3) minutes and maximum of five (5) minutes performance.
5.   Each group must furnish their audio CD containing the music they shall be using. CD must be cued and ready to play. Back up music/CD is strongly recommended.
6.  Dancers should be in costume or related attire or get up, warmed up, and ready to perform at least one hour before their scheduled performance.
7.   Dance steps, body movements and attires hould conform to normal standards of morality and good conduct.
8.   All songs used in the performance piece must be appropriate and suitable for any age. Foul taste in music such as profanity will result in disqualification.
9.   Use of props will be allowed as long as it will not cause any delay in the program and those that may harm the performance of other groups. Props such as oil, confetti, fire, broken glass, live animals, sharp objects and the like are prohibited. Violation of this provision shall mean disqualification of the group.
10. All participants should conduct themselves in a manner displaying good sportsmanship throughout the competition. Any demonstration of un-sportsman like conduct will result in disqualification.
11. Criteria for Judging:

10%      Attire/Creativity
10%      Audience Impact
12.  Only three (3) groups with the highest scores will be competing again on the gala night for the ranking.
13.  The sequence of performance shall be decided through drawing of lots to be done prior to the show proper.
