AIE COLLEGE GRAND REUNION POSTPONED TO NEXT YEAR
Please be informed that the AIE College Grand Reunion/Homecoming scheduled on December 28, 2016 will be postponed to next year.
We presumed that because of the holidays, we got practically no positive response from Alumni, hence, the College decided to cancel the activity and postpone it indefinitely to next year.

1st Grand Alumni Homecoming Party of AIE College

Announcing the 1st Grand Alumni Homecoming Party of All AIE Graduates from year 2004 to 2016 from ALL AIE Branches.
Don't Forget! The day is Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 5:00pm. Venue is tentatively set at STAR PLAZA HOTEL or LENOX HOTEL Dagupan City. Please stay tune for any changes in Venue.
Dinner Ticket is P800 which includes Sumptous dinner buffet, Up to two (2) glasses of wine will be served for toast. Souvenir T-Shirt will also be received by each alumni.
Part of the proceeds will be for the use of building funds of AIE College head office. Calling all Alumni to help.
During the event, a new Grand Alumni Association will be formed, and sworn into office, to take charge of the future AIE grand alumni homecoming events. Ideally a Grand Alumni Homecoming will be hosted by a particular campus year batch.
Mechanics:
"Each Campus year batch" will be asked to nominate their Representative. All representatives forms part of the core group and will meet briefly to select their officers. Alumni Officers will be sworn-in on the same night."

Exchange Gift: Alumni can bring unlimited gifts for exchange gifts. Each gift should be worth at least P200.
Alumni can bring their husband or wife, or friends to the event. Alumni kids who are 6years old and above can also come with 50% discount on tickets.
Important!!! - Please RSVP - Please Confirm your attendance early so we may know how many tables and plates to set up, including t-shirts and other souvenirs.

As
we celebrated AIE College’s 9th year anniversary last December 7,
2012 at Greenvalley Resort in Baguio City, we trust God for his loving kindness
for our College for the great, wonderful and unbelievable years. We
thank God for more than 8,000 graduates of AIE College for the past 9 years.
Most are in abroad and with good jobs in the Country. God bless them all.
We
thank God for all the staff, faculty and officers who have been part of AIE
College, we wish them all well. We believe God will continue to nurture AIE to
the peak. God will place more people to help us and will pull out some people for
a reason. We especially thank and salute all those people who stayed with us
thru thick and thin, and willing to grow with AIE College.
We
thank God for the health, protection and safe travel of all delegates last week.

This

Power Dance Mechanics
AIE POWER DANCE MECHANICS
Eligibilities:
1) Participants
must be a bonafide student of AIE College and should be officially enrolled
this 2nd trimester 2012.
2) Certificate of
Registration will be required for validation purposes on December 7, 2012.
3) Male or Female.
4) Open to all
ages.
MECHANICS AND GUIDELINES:
1. The dance piece
must be that of a Dance craze (Street Dance or Hiphop).
2. Dance performance
must be a minimum of three (3) minutes and maximum of five (5) minutes. A
corresponding deduction of two (2) points for violation
Ten (10) seconds
pre-set is given each group. After such, group’s time automatically starts.
3. Dance troupe must
compose of a minimum of five (5) and maximum of ten (10) members. A
corresponding deduction of two (2) points for violation
4. Groups should
wear clothing reflecting the character and style of the performance.
5. MUSIC
• Groups
must submit their final Material on CD or USB on or before December 7, 2012,
11:00 am but not later than 12:30 NN
• No CD’s
will be accepted on the time of the competition.
• Cassette
tapes are not allowed.
• 1
representative is allowed in the technical booth during performance to assist.
• Groups
must prepare BACK-UP CD or USB. Groups are advised to check the said materials
on or before 12:00nn. In case of technical problem due to own material the
group’s time will continue to run despite of technical problem. But if the
technical problem is due to committee’s technical equipment, the group may
choose to continue or repeat the performance once again.
6. ATTIRES AND PROPS
a. This may include
accessories such as hats, caps, gloves, scarves, jewelry and other forms of
THEATRICAL dress. However, bead necklace, bracelet, or other accessories made
of Beads are PROHOBITED.
b. Props may be
allowed in the performance as long as it doesn’t destroy the stage set up or
flooring or those that may harm other group’s performance.
c. Body oils, body
paints, body and hair glitters are prohibited as is any other substance applied
to the Body that may affect the clean dry surface of the stage and the safety
of fellow competitors.
7. Chronology of
performance will be base from a draw lots on the day of the competition
(December 07, 2012). Drawn spots are final and no changes will be entertained.
8. Elimination
Round: The three groups with the highest rank will compete again for the FINAL
round. (Back to zero basis).
9. Elimination Round will start at 1pm and Final Round will
start at 7pm. Contestant must be in the contest venue not later than the said
time 1:00 pm and 7pm, failure to comply will be declared default.
10. Judges decision is final and executory
NOTE: Elimination and Final round will follow same criteria.
The sequence of performance shall be decided through drawing
of lots to be done prior to the show proper.
NOTE: All groups must be in the event venue, atleast 30 min
before the start of the competition

AIE SINGING SUPERSTAR MECHANICS
Eligibilities:
1) Participants

Guidelines:
1) Participants
must prepare a singing piece for the elimination and final round. Singing piece
can either be English or Tagalog at any genre, but must not contain any
subliminal, sexually suggestive or offensive lyrics. Non-compliance will be
grounds for disqualification.
2) Participants
must submit their minus one in audio CD format, plus a back up copy of the
minus one on USB to sir Symond on or before December 7, 2012, 11:00 am to 12:30
NN.
3) CD labels must
include the following:
Name of Campus
Name of Participant
Track no. & song title of the singing piece for the
elimination and final round
4) Attire must be
appropriate for the competition.
5) Contestant must
be present at least 30minutes before the competition.
6) No musical
instruments such as guitar, etc. should be used. Only minus one is accepted. This is to
audibly hear the vocals of the participant for the judges’ convenience.

CHEERDANCE COMPETITION GUIDELINES
Eligibility of participants
1. All participants must be official students either Diploma
or BS only of the AIE branch/team and must meet all their eligibility
requirements:
a) Officially enrolled at the time of the competition
b) Should be in good standing
Official List of participants (cheer dancers) must be
submitted on or before December 4, 2012thru email: veraborromeo@yahoo.com (head
facilitator of cheerdance competition).
2. The team must be composed of minimum of twelve (12)
members and a maximum of twenty five (25) members. (Dancers, cheerer, lifters,
flyers, spotters) Penalty-5 points deduction from the total score
3. During the foundation day, Team leader or team adviser
must report immediately to the Cheer dance competition facilitator or sports
chairman for registration, briefing and the team’s number not later than 8;30
am to be handled by sir Jeffrey Ramirez.
Chronology of performance will be base from a draw lots on
the day of the competition (December 07, 2012, 7:00-8:00) except for Cabanatuan
(last spot). Drawn spots are final and no changes will be entertained.
Sportsmanship
1. All participants must exhibit the highest level of
sportsmanship before, during and after the competition;
2. All participants must be at the competition venue at the
designated time 8:00 am. Grace period is 2 minutes. Penalty-5 points deduction
from the total score.
3. The same level of sportsmanship is expected from the
teams’ branch and other supporters.
4. Grave acts against sportsmanship but not limited to
sabotage, physical violence, libel, stealing, and the like shall be dealt with
the full force of the law after an appropriate investigation is conducted.
Apparel and Accessories
1. Soft-soled shoes with adequate support must be worn while
competing is highly encouraged.
2. Jewelries of any kind and Stockings are prohibited.
3. Gloves and Face paint are allowed
4. Ribbons, rubber bands and hairpins are allowed but must
be properly secured.
5. Inappropriate and vulgar clothing will not be allowed.
Routine Timing
1. The minimum length of performance is four (4) minutes and
a maximum of ten (10) minutes. Penalty – 5 points deduction from the total
score.
2. A one-minute pre-set will be given each team. After such,
team’s time will automatically starts.
3. The Team timing will begin with the first organized
movement of a cheer, sideline or dance, the first note of music or the building
of a pyramid or stunt. Competitors may do spirited tumbling exit as long as it
is with the given exit time.
4. The team should leave the floor immediately after their
routine together with their props.
Music
1. Profanity and other inappropriate language are strictly
prohibited. Penalty-disqualification.
2. Music must not be longer than ten (10) minutes. Audience
participation is not required though encouraged.
3. The use of drums and other instruments are allowed.
4. Each team/branch is required to assign 1 official
representative to check the music/cds 30 minutes before the competition starts
and assist the technical personnel throughout the entire performance.
5. Only MP3 of WAV file formats recorded on compact discs
are allowed in the competition. CDs must be submitted 30 minutes before the
competition starts. Back up is highly encouraged.
Interruption of Performance
1. In the event performance is interrupted because of
technical reasons caused by the event equipment, facilities, etc, the team
shall be given the option to either resume their performance from where it
stopped or repeat their entire performance.
2. In the event the performance is interrupted because of
failure of team’s own equipment supplies, tools, music, props, acts or any of
the same kind, the team must either continue the performance or withdraw from
the competition.
3. In the event of minor injury, the team can continue
either with or without the injured member. In the event of a major injury (ie.
Immobility, unconsciousness, excessive bleeding) the cheer dance officials
reserves the right to stop the performance and to provide proper medical
attention. The team will be judged according to where the performance ended.
Props and Equipment
1. Wearable articles that may impede vision or deemed
potentially injurious to the wearer or teams are not permitted.
2. Any height increasing apparatus used to propel competitor
is prohibited. Penalty: disqualification
3. Flags, banners, signs, pompons are the only props
allowed. Props withpoles or similar support apparatus may not be used in
conjunction with any kind of stunt or tumbling. All props must be safety
discarded out of harms (ie. Throwing a hand sign or banner across or behind the
mat from a stunt would be illegal) Penalty: disqualification
4. Mascots are not permitted to use any props.
Technical Rules
1. Three to Five (3-5) judges will score the whole
performance.
2. Each judge is responsible for scoring all the categories
of the routine.
3. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and
executory.

2nd AIE Film Festival
Hola!
Entry of Filmfest material must be submitted on or before 7pm of December 4 , 2012, contact person is Sir Barmie Caluza.
Please submit 2 copies of DVD of official campus entry.
Tip to film makers:
1. This is a short filmfest, Keep entry to a shortest
possible time, duration should be minimum 10 minutes to maximum 40 minutes.
2. Theme is open but should reflect positive moral or cultural values.
3. Best Acting should give justice to the story. Minimalist acting is powerful.
4. Full vernacular language film is acceptable, with english
or filipino subtitle.
5. Black and white and silent film is acceptable.
6. Documentary acceptable.
note: Instructors and Staff are allowed to appear in a cameo role and entitled to compete in the acting category only for the Supporting trophies. They can also
help in the different aspect of actual film making as adviser, but cannot be
nominated. Only students compete for the major acting and technical awards. The award (trophy) of Best
Picture belongs to the respective Campus.

Please be advised that rules for all sports competition (as well as non sports competition) will be the same as of last years guidelines and mechanics.
The campus capturing most gold medals will be declared the 9th Foundation overall champion.
Current defending champion is Tarlac Campus.

Mechanics and Guidelines
The AIE College Quiz Bee
will be held at Green Valley Resort and Hotel, Baguio City Philippines on December
07, 2011 in celebration of AIE College 9th Annual Anniversary.
GENERAL RULES:
1.
The contest is open
to all AIE students officially enrolled this 2nd trimester 2012.
2.
Each AIE Campus is
entitled for one (1) entry for General knowledge quiz bee.
3.
Entry is composed of
two members, male or female.
4.
Entry must have one
(1) adviser.
5.
Members must wear
their school I.D. and foundation T-Shirt (color code) at the time of the
contest.
6.
Members must be at
the venue 30 minutes before the start of the contest.
7.
No registration fee
will be collected from the participants.
8.
The coverage of the
quiz bee are as follows:

Each participating
team must accomplish entry registration form provided and must be submitted on
or before December 02, 2012 to the Chairman of Committee through email @

CONTEST PROPER MECHANICS:
1.
Only recognized
participants shall be allowed to take the contestant’s seat.
2.
In case a regular
member fails to come, no replacements shall be allowed. One (1) member for each
participating team is enough to proceed to the contest.
3.
Advisers are given a
specific area where they can observe the contest and are not allowed to go near
within the participant’s seats.
4.
The Quiz Master /
Host will read each question twice which is projected in the screen.
5.
Questions shall come
in the following forms:
a.
Multiple choice
b.
Identification
c.
True or False
d.
Problem Solving
6.
The quiz bee is
divided into three (3) rounds.
a.
Easy (10 questions,
1 point each)
b.
Average (10
questions, 2 points each)
c.
Difficult (10
questions, 3 points each)
7.
No elimination is
given for each round.
8.
Participating team
is given 10 seconds time to answer each question for the easy round, 15 seconds
for the average round, and 20 seconds for the difficult round.
9.
The end of each
answer time given will be signaled by a buzzer and the participants are
required to raise their answers for checking by designated proctors.
10. The participants must write their answers on the Answer
Sheets provided by the organizers and are required to answer using CAPITAL
LETTERS only. Misspelled answers are rendered wrong.
11.
Once
the answers have been checked, The Quiz Master / Host will announce the correct
answer and correct answers will be reflected in the score sheets.
12. There will be no penalty for any wrong answers.
13. Only Advisers are allowed to protest as to the accuracy
of an answer/question. Protest must be lodged with the technical panel composed
of advisers from the different participating teams together with the committee
before proceeding with the next question.
14. Decision made by the committee in cases like number 10
occurs is final and must be treated with utmost respect
15. Any team caught in an act of cheating or any form of
dishonesty shall be automatically disqualified.
16. In case of tie, a tie-breaker question shall be given and
the winner will be determined in a first-to-score basis.
17. The top-three participating teams shall be declared
Champion, 1st runner-up, and 2nd runner-up respectively.
18. COMMITTEE’S
DECISION IS FINAL AND NON-APPEALABLE.
AWARDING OF WINNERS:
All declared winners shall be awarded after
the competition.
