Mr and Miss AIE Philippines Selection will be held on December 9 and 10 2011 at the Green Valley Hotel and Country Club in Baguio City in consonance with the 8th Foundation day of Asian Institute of E-Commerce.
Open to bonafide AIE Students from all over the country... with pleasing personality, age 17 to 22 years old, height must be at least 5'2" for women and 5'6" for men...
Campus representative doesn’t necessarily be winners of acquaintance party, as long as requirements are met. School Director and his/her team decides who will be sent by the campus to compete in the national pageant.
Criteria for Mr and Miss AIE Philippines:
40% - Campus & Peer Support (People’s Choice)
60% - Board of Judges Decision
Beauty of Face and Body - 20%
Formal Wear - 10%
Swim wear (with scarf) - 10%
Creative Costume - 10%
Talent - 5%
Runway walk (Ramp modeling) - 5%
100% Total
Score in the fundraising activity (40%) plus Board of judges decision (60%) will be added to determine the final score for choosing Mr and Miss Philippines AIE.
Note: the decision of the board of judges is final.
Aside from beauty and poise, competing for Popularity and Fund Raising will be one of the highlights of the event. thus Candidates who garnered the most number of support (points from tickets) from their campus, peers and friends will be awarded the Mr & Miss People’s Choice Award. This is a major award for the competition.
Mr and Miss People's Choice is a result of the Fund Raising Endeavor. Part of the proceed from the fund raising endeavor will go to the AIE Scholarship Foundation and event prizes, moreover, portion of the funds raised (40%) will be given to the branch and especially to the respective candidates to support for their expenses for the pageant. Ticket raffles will be drawn during the pageant with exciting prizes at stake.
Out of the said 40% from the ticket proceeds, since this is a branch effort, 10% will go to branch and 30% will go directly to respective candidates.
People's Choice winners has big chances in winning the Crown, because a full 40 percent score will be given to winner of Peoples Choice Award for garnering the highest point in the Fund Raising endeavor. Score in the fundraising activity (40%) plus Board of judges decision (60%) will be added to determine the final score for choosing Mr and Miss Philippines AIE.
The following percentage score will be given to candidates according to their rank in the final canvassing.

9th -32.5 %

Canvassing deadlines will be done not later than 5p.m. on the following dates:
1st – November 28, 2011
2nd - December 5, 2011
Final - December 9, 2011
Overall Candidate Points Tally can be viewed on this website a day after every canvassing date, except for the final canvassing, wherein final scores will be announced on the pageant night.
Note: Only the Accounting and treasury department will release official records of votes based on actual ticket sales received by the branch. Advance purchase of tickets is allowed in case tickets is not yet available as of canvassing time.
